About The Hall Family Of Windhill. West Yorkshire.
The Hall family have lived in WINDHILL,Shipley, West Yorkshire for at least 6 generations. As I am the
last of the Hall`s here (As far as I know). I have set myself the task to try and find another branch of the family tree. In the hope that the family name will live on in this area.
After over 3 years of research, I have finally come up with someone famous. On the Dodgson side of the family is Charles Lutwich Dodgson, AKA Lewis Carroll, who wrote among other things "Alice in Wonderland". Although he is only my 5th cousin 6 times removed, I am proud that he is at least part of my family.
